End To End Project
End-to-End market research project management typically involves a one-time project rather than an ongoing activity, and resources managed include both human and financial capital. A project manager will help define the goals and objectives of the project, determine when the various project components are to be completed and by whom, and create quality control checks to ensure that completed components meet a certain standard.
Project management is often closely associated with engineering projects, which typically have a complex set of components that have to be completed and assembled in a set fashion in order to create a functioning product. Project managers use visual representations of workflow. It is the completion for the commitment for project delivery and efficiencies, ensures a significant cost benefit to our clients in each & every corner of this world. FieldGlobal is expertise in doing end-to-end project and business process management provides the flexibility to service diverse customer business processes such as Requirement Analysis, Software Development, Implementation, Training and Maintenance, Fielding of surveys & so on…..
Field monitoring and recommendations to ensure timely and within–budget completion of projects. The planning and organization of an organization's resources in order to move a specific task, event or duty toward completion. Project managers use visual representations of workflow, such as Gantt charts and PERT charts, to determine which tasks are to be completed by which departments. Project Management solutions ensure value across the spectrum of market research activities, including:
- Questionnaire design
- Survey programming and hosting
- Translation and partnering with global translation providers
- Advisory on efficiency and response rate improvement
- Coding, data processing and presentation/report writing
- Infrastructure management
A project is a sequence of tasks with a definite beginning and end that is limited in duration, resources and expected outcomes. Project success is usually based on satisfying customer needs/desires in a timely manner using limited resources and with quality results; a key factor to this is successfully defining the project goals, scope, and requirements early on and ensuring all stakeholders are in agreement. Basically you can think of project management as involving five key processes:
- Initiating,
- Planning,
- Eexecuting/implementing,
- Controlling, and
- Closing
Fieldglobal knows to be successful with each process we need to manage expectations, actively listen, clearly communicate, and ensure the project is on target in all aspects. There are four basic project management tasks:
- Clearly defining what will be done,
- Clearly defining when it will be done,
- Clearly defining how much it will cost, and
- Clearly defining by whom and with what resources (people and other) will be necessary.
We know every project has a definite beginning and end. Due to this, it also has a life cycle. It starts with deciding to start the project and ends with successful completion. Usually a project goes through some specific stages:
- Conceptual phase
- Definition phase
- Planning phase
- Design phase
- Implementation / Execution phase
- Acceptance phase
- Close-out
We always establish goals for the project, the general scope, the general expectations, define the environment (internal and external), and select initial members of the project team. We spend ample time assessing the project itself. Replacing a faulty process with a new one will not solve company problems. We believes in addressing the true issues and causes rather than surface or associated issues; and make sure your solutions satisfy real needs or desires instead of simply perceived needs/desires. Equally we spend some time defining potential audiences who could be affected by the proposed project and assumptions made in relation to the project. We list tasks and activities that will be required to achieve project goal and then sequence these in the most efficient manner possible.Clear specifications at this level will avoid scope creep and conflicting expectations in the progression of this project. We believes in procuring all necessary resources such as manpower, equipment, hard goods, and time.
This is basically watching over the project as a whole and making sure it stays on track. Using controlling processes the project manager ensures timelines are being met and job tasks being performed to specifications. It also incorporates change control which limits scope creep and deviations from the original plan. Basically we measure progress toward the objectives. Our aim is to see how the project progressed and hopefully celebrate successful and satisfactory completion. An important part of this step is ensuring there is acceptance of the end-product and ensuring the outcome not only satisfies the original need/desire but is going to continue to be actively used after project completion. We always review the project processes and outcomes with team members and stakeholders, and then write up a final project report.
